Training Course and Certification Examination

The Manitoba Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) is offering a 3-day training workshop and examination session for the Certification of CSA Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 on June 4-6, 2019.  Join the more than 1,000 Manitobans who have satisfied the CSA Standard’s requirement for field personnel certification to assure improved concrete testing in the field and to acquire a better understanding of the test procedures and certification requirements.  All training will be based on the seven CSA A23.2-14 standard test procedures for concrete including sampling concrete, making and curing concrete test specimens, slump tests, density & yield calculations, air content by the volumetric method and temperature of freshly mixed concrete.

Certification is conditional to the successful completion of the written and performance ACI-accredited exams. This certification is recognized worldwide and satisfies the requirements of CSA Group A23.1-14 clause 4.4.1.5.2.  The Instructor and Examiner will be Guillaume Beauce, P Eng., Certification Examiner for the ACI Manitoba Chapter.

The number of registrants is limited to a total of 25.  The Registration Form can be downloaded HERE.
